A must go if you are Taipei and craving for some authentic homemade meals(yun-nan cuisine.) Order their friend oyster mushrooms, sweet bun( puo-su bao), and the peas( hand-picked, not frozen.) The owners are super friendly, and the service is great.This place is very popular among Japanese so reservation is strongly recommended.

Few dishes were so so but most dishes were special in Taipei. Maybe the price was high, I don’t know, because I got treat by a friend.
Very authentic Yunnan cuisine, the prices are approachable, the portions are exquisite, the rice noodles and the crispy buns are impressive, the rest of the dishes are also delicious, and the staff are very attentive.
Too expensive and food portion is too small. It feels like each person need to order two dishes to be full. And each dish is 300-400nt. Prob won't come back again.

Food is great
The soup over the bridge noodles is refreshing and delicious. Broken crispy buns are also quite unique. Cold chayote, dried flat potato chips, vinegar and spicy chicken are all delicious and have a high CP value. As for the steamer chicken, it is not much recommended.

It is very delicious if you leave it a little and eat it with the noodles.Everything else was delicious.Taiwan has a lot of oily dishes, but without that, it was delicious until the end.Please note that it is only cash payment.

I read the other reviews, but they made no sense to me at all. This was a terrible restaurant. I cant understand why this place would get good review. I think its a case of group think and conformity bias. 1. rude and annoying staff.2. bland, tasteless food. almost all the food had generic and bland sauce and seasoning.3. cheap ingredients. the texture of the meat felt really cheap, like fast food.4. very overpriced. small portions.

It was lunchtime, but it was quite empty. Only Japanese group including us.It's a shop listed in every guidebook, so I went there with the understanding that I could duck. Very delicious and delicate, has uncommon dishes which are perfect for ppl who want to try new flavor, also has common dishes but the taste is simply awesome, bringing them to a different level. Always listen to the staff when making orders, they know how to provide the most extensive choices while u just have one stomach.

Some dishes are special and have not found the same elsewhere. But almost ALL dishes are small portioned for the relatively high price (e.g., ~NT$500 for yellow fish (small), ~NT$300 for sauteed vegetables (small dish), etc.). Accepts cash only, which is a downside as well - should definitely upgrade on this in this 21st century!

I'm very impressed with the service here. They offer slightly smaller portions if you're unsure what certain dishes are, their staff are extremely friendly, and the food was delicious! We had about 5 of their special dishes, and each one was quite satisfying. Ended off with a piece of refreshing watermelon!The decor in this place is quite beautiful too, and a step above other restaurants in the area.I'd definitely recommend this.
The authentic Yunnan cuisine, and the chef's make the Yunnan cuisine fresh, sour and sweet tasty by pretty good cooking methods. The proprietress seems to be a Yunnan native and will greet the guests. the only one to be said is the pricing is little bit high and credit card is not convenient here.
